Aziz (Ali Can Ünal) is forty and runs the hair salon 'Without an appointment'. But actually, he would much rather be a musician. One day he decides to go for it, through coincidence, an early midlife crisis and a neighbour who unwittingly gives him a push. Standing between dream and deed include his wife, a pubescent daughter, a son with plans of his own, a paralysed father, a criminal brother-in-law and a gang of extortionists. In short: the perfect arena for a witty and fast-paced comedy full of misunderstandings, dashed ambitions, broken hearts, spirited arguments and painfully recognisable confrontations.
'ZONDER AFSPRAAK' is a colourful comedy about the dreams we all cherish, the practical objections that get in the way, and the sometimes surprising and far-reaching consequences when the two collide.
